Along with the support of SketchUp 2017 we improved snapping to point cloud points, implemented coordinate system transformation and introduced a whole new automated features extraction functionality that allows to detect and automatically extract planes corner lines and surface meshes.
Do you process massive point clouds every day? Do you strive for productivity and efficiency? What if you could save countless hours on as-built 2D and 3D documentation works? Would the result be: Reduced project timelines? More projects within the same time? Beating the competition? Gaining more profit? You name it and you can have it.
Next week is going to be exciting! We are exhibiting at the GeoBusiness 2016 in London. Come and visit us on our Stand F15. We will showcase point cloud software solutions for AutoCAD and for SketchUp and also you will learn what we are up to next. Attend our training and demonstration session on Tuesday 24 May at 9.30, Room K. You will learn how to efficiently process massive point clouds, improve 2D/3D/BIM workflows, reduce project timelines, drive productivity and save money.
Undet opened brand new workflows for SketchUp users involving point clouds. 3D Building Modelling, Architecture and Interior Design, 3D City Modelling – these are recent projects successfully delivered by first Undet for SketchUp users. Furthermore, next to numerous already supported file formats we implemented direct DotProduct *.DP import. This combination of DotProduct + SketchUp + Undet makes an extremely affordable solution reducing barriers for technology-savvy end users.
Did you ever want to bring in scan data directly in SketchUp? We bet you did, and now, you can. Undet4SketchUp offers a unique opportunity to use any pointcloud directly in SketchUp Pro and provides great tools for efficient pointcloud visibility and colouring management.
A short video showing one of our R&D projects – UNDET plug-in for Trimble SketchUp. This project is still in development stage but in a couple of weeks or so we will provide a beta install for users that are interested to test the functionality and provide us their feedback.
Check out the latest UNDET Point Cloud Software promo video and meet us in FARO 3D Documentation User Conference (Stuttgart, 21-22 May) if you are in Europe. Or visit us at our stand in Geo Business Show (London, 27-28 May) if you are in Great Britain.
UNDET’s roots stem from practising surveyors with a firm grasp on surveying principles. Reality capture and data processing are our daily operations that go hand in hand with superior software development dating back to 1997. We are now present in UK and we offer excellent solution for users who want to efficiently derive as-built documentation for multiple laser scanning tasks in AutoCAD.
Planning to participate in FARO 3D Documentation User Conference? Visit our Work Shop session and see how UNDET improves FARO users’ workflows from point cloud to smooth vector drawing. During the workshop we will present UNDET Software features and applications through an overview of four different and challenging user stories all utilizing FARO scanners.
UNDET ToolBox V2 is the latest release of an application that has been developed over the course of the last three years by InfoEra Ltd, a company with a software history dating back to 1997.
