Undet Browser with Undet for Ares Commander

Firstly, you need to open the same Undet point cloud project in the Undet for Ares Commander plug-in and after that in the Undet Browser software.

NOTE: Undet Browser <-> Undet for Ares Commander integration is only compatible with the latest versions of:

Undet for Ares Commander version: 21.0.0.706 or later.

Undet Browser version: 1.2.1.1636 or later.

How to open Undet Browser project?

The table below lists of the Undet Browser features that work with the Undet for Ares Commander plug-in.

	[Draw Points] – Enables / disables function to place a point in SketchUp model by clicking in Panoramic Scan view.
	[Translate View Section] – Enables / disables function to auto-update Undet view section location.
	[Add Annotations] – Enables / disables function to add an annotation in Panoramic Scan View (only Webshare Cloud users)
	[Add Herfs] – Enables / disables function to add a hyperlink to Panoramic Scan View screenshot when selecting 3D point in Ares Commander model. Must be activated together with [Draw Points]
	[Change Elevation] – Enables / disables function to assign Z value to draw new Ares Commander object (line, polyline).

Note: Several functions can be enabled at the same time. 

Undet Browser functionality between Undet for Ares Commander plug-in

There are two ways to open 360 scan station views in the Undet browser from the Ares Commander model space.

1-st way: Double- click the left mouse button on the center symbol of the scanning station – the sphere. User the data files menu section in the Undet Scan data feature to enable/disable(BB) scan station center symbols.

As a result of your selected scan position will be opened at Undet browser in North view.

2nd – way: By pressing the [View Sync] button and picking a point cloud point from Ares Commander model space. The [View Sync] tool will locate the scan station view in the Undet Browser by picked point cloud point.

As a result of your picked point cloud point, you will get the nearest scan station panoramic views oriented to your selected point area. By pressing [Accept] you can choose the most relevant view.

Undet Browser feature [Draw Points] can be performed by activating 
Place point in Ares Commander model by clicking in Panoramic Scan View. This function allows you to easily mark any objects or places clearly in visible scan station panoramic views.

1. Activate [Draw Points] function and pick the point in Undet Browser panoramic view.

2. The point symbol is inserted automatically into Ares Commander model as picked point location through Undet Browser.

Undet Browser feature [Translate view section] can be performed by activating
Clicking anywhere in the Undet Browser that clicked point will be geometrical center of newly translated active clipping box. This function will not change size of current clipping box it will only change clipping box location.

Undet Browser feature [Add Herfs] can be performed by activating and
Place point in Ares Commander model by clicking in Panoramic Scan View and picture hyperlink of your current view will be added.

1. Activate [Draw Points] and [Add Herfs] function and pick the point in Undet Browser panoramic view.

      2. Picture hyperlink of your current view will be added to the point object.
