Hardware that influence point cloud data processing the most is your Hard disk speed, RAM memory, video card and CPU speed of a single core (GHz). It is possible to process point cloud data working with minimum AutoCAD requirements but if you are dealing with bigger pointcloud projects, for a smooth processing, we recomend to have such parameters:
64 bit bit OS; HDD 7200 rpm or SSD; RAM 8 Gb or more; Gaming or Professional video card.
