for Revit

Undet enables Revit point cloud users to experience better visibility, increased control and performance.

We are using the plugin because it is simple to use, fast and efficient.  It allows a view of the point cloud outside of the Revit view range giving greater flexibility in controlling the level of information you see in your view.

You do not need to load heavy RCP/RCS files to use a point cloud in Revit.  Simple image views are quick to generate and do not drastically reduce the speed of Revit.

We are generating raster image views from point cloud directly in Revit. Raster images are lighter than point cloud. It allows us to increase Revit performance. Coloring modes and resolution settings allow us to increase visibility.

Interactive and independent image view generation

Undet allows a view of the point cloud outside of the Revit view range, giving greater flexibility in controlling the level of information you see in your view.

Combine multiple image views

Combine couple point cloud view sections (raster images) into one view. This will allow you to see an entire object and to model using precise cross sections. Get views when you need them simply by turning the images on and off.

Manage image resolution and density

Get better visibility and situation understanding by changing visibility parameters.

Update image colors

Get even better visibility by changing the coloring mode and options.

Scan position grouping

Combine individual scan locations into logical groups, like “External scans”, “Internal scans”, “1st floor”, “2nd floor”, “basement” and similar.

This allows more options to control visibility like scan-by-scan or group-by-group and maintains efficient workflow.

Recap point cloud cropping and color switching

Get decimated point cloud with just one click; it will load in Revit for 3D overview. You will be able to crop/un-crop, hide/show, easily change color mode.
Cropping tool and color switching accelerators for ReCap cloud files (*.rcp; *.rcs) are free to use even after the trial period.

Undet Browser allows Undet for Revit integration with FARO SCENE WebShare. You can get the scan positions from SCENE WebShare just by picking a point in Revit. Or you can pick scan a point in SCENE  WebShare and section will be shown in Revit.

Undet Indexer - our indexing algorithm increase processing performance and enables you to have limitless project size. Undet Indexer allows you to import original scan data from various 3D scanner manufacturers, such as Leica, Z + F, Faro and etc. An unlimited number of files can be imported at once.
