The main value of Undet software is its efficiency and ease of use when working with point clouds in AutoCAD. Using Undet has helped us to improve our models and to reduce the time spent in creating them considerably, allowing us to reduce costs and improve on delivery times. The time spent in producing models is now typically 30% less than it was previously.
Undet opened brand new workflows for SketchUp users involving point clouds. 3D Building Modelling, Architecture and Interior Design, 3D City Modelling – these are recent projects successfully delivered by first Undet for SketchUp users. Furthermore, next to numerous already supported file formats we implemented direct DotProduct *.DP import. This combination of DotProduct + SketchUp + Undet makes an extremely affordable solution reducing barriers for technology-savvy end users.

Did you ever want to bring in scan data directly in SketchUp? We bet you did, and now, you can. Undet4SketchUp offers a unique opportunity to use any pointcloud directly in SketchUp Pro and provides great tools for efficient pointcloud visibility and colouring management.
The task was to produce floor plans, sections and elevations in a form of 2D *.dwg. The project consisted of 2120 inside and 230 outside scan locations (2350 scans and 316 GB on disk in total) and was collected over the course of two weeks with a FARO X330. Scans were registered in Scene 5.3 and output as E57 files.
