Undet for Revit: 360° Panorama Positions & Sync Browser (MMS)

When working with Mobile Mapping (MMS) and SLAM data in Undet for Revit, you can now reveal the 360° panorama capture positions along your trajectory and jump straight into any of them in the Undet Browser. Combined with Sync Browser (View Sync), this lets you orient the nearest panorama to whatever point you pick in the Revit model — the same “Street View”-style workflow previously available for static TLS scan stations, now for Trimble MX60 and Navvis VLX data.

Prerequisite: An indexed Undet project *.IPCP that includes panoramic imagery, opened in Undet for Revit, plus the Undet Browser installed.

1. Turn on 360° panorama positions

The panorama positions are toggled from the Data Classes Manager.

1. Open the Data Classes Manager in the Undet for Revit ribbon.
2. Enable the 360 panorama positions button.
3. The 360° capture positions appear in the model as markers along the MMS / SLAM trajectory.

If the project contains no panoramic imagery (e.g. MX60 positions were not imported during indexing), the 360 positions will not appear. 2. Open a panorama position in Undet Browser

Once the 360° positions are visible:

1. Use the Call Browser function to open that position in the Undet Browser.
2. Select a 360° panorama marker in the Revit model.
3. The selected panorama opens in the Undet Browser, ready for measurement and data extraction.

3. Sync Browser (View Sync) with MMS data

Sync Browser orients the nearest panorama in the Undet Browser to a point you pick in the Revit model — useful when a point cloud slice is unclear and you want a real photo of that exact spot.

1. Press the Sync Browser / View Sync button.
2. Pick a point cloud point in the Revit model space.
3. The Undet Browser locates the nearest MMS panorama position and orients its view to the area you picked.
4. If several positions are nearby, cycle through them to choose the clearest view.

Tip: Several Undet Browser functions can be enabled at the same time, so View Sync can be combined with Draw Points to send a 3D point straight back into the Revit model from the panorama view.
