View section, Data files and Logic classes list

View Section list

In Undet View Section list all created view sections will be showed. Here You can easily adjust color for every created view section separately. To identify which view section is active it name will be bold in vies section list.

Note: only bold view section is active and changing color will only apply to active view section.

By selecting right mouse click on View Section additional menu will appear.

ActivateActivates selected View Section.
DeactivateDeactivates selected View Section.
RenameRenames selected View Section.
EditTurns on Active View Section grips and makes View Section boundary visible for editing.
RemoveRemoves selected View Section.
In Viewsection BaseWhen mark is ticked means intersection of base viewsection and newly drawn viewsection.
Import…You can import existing ViewSections from one drawing into another one (into an active UNDET project). Click the right mouse button on the ViewSection list and choose [Import…] from the menu. In the new dialog choose the drawing file from which you want to import ViewSections.
Export Full Resolution PointsExports all points from the original data set.
Export Visible PointsExports all currently visible points.
3D ViewerThe 3D viewer allows to load Undet’s ViewSections or scan locations and provides crisp view of the point cloud.

Data Files in active View Section list

In Undet Data Files in Active View Section List all data files either grouped or ungrouped that can be seen in Active View Section will be visible. Here You can see distribution of which Data Files You are seeing in Your current view section. It works pretty much the same as Data Files tab itself, but it is created for faster navigation and only applies for active View Section.

Locating Data files which are most visible in current View Section.

By deactivating some Data Files You can clear View Section from unwanted images.

Data Files List

  • To assign imported Data Files into Group select Files you want to assign (use Shift or Ctrl buttons to select multiple Files) and choose Add Group command from the context menu.
  • To rename any Data File in the List double click on its name or right click on it, choose Rename command from the context menu and type the new name.
  • Check Tick-Mark in V column next to corresponding Data File’s name if you want this File to be visible in the drawing.
  • To remove any Group from the List right click on it and choose Remove command from the context menu. Program removes only Group, but not Data Files, assigned to it. After deleting Group Data Files remain in the List.
  • To export created Data Files to LAS, PSG and ASCII formats right click on selected File (use Shift or Ctrl buttons to select multiple Files) and choose corresponding Export command from the context menu.
  • When Coloring by Data Files mode is selected, you can also choose one of Coloring Options for Active View Section in Color column.

Logical classes in active View Section list

In Undet Logic Classes in Active View Section List all Logic Classes that can be seen in Active View Section will be visible. Here You can see distribution of which Logic Classes You are seeing in Your current view section. It works pretty much the same as Logic Classes tab itself, but it is created for faster navigation and only applies for active View Section.

If you are using LIDAR data from mobile or airborne LIDAR system with LAS classification , Undet when creating project will automatically detect these clasees , and you will be able to control edit.

Logic Classes List

  • To create New Class in the List right click on any created Logic Class and choose New Class command from the context menu.
  • To move Active View Section or cropped part of Active View Section to specified Logic Class right click on selected Logic Class and choose Classify command from the context menu.
  • To assign created Logic Classes into Group select Classes you want to assign (use Shift or Ctrl buttons to select multiple Classes) and choose Add Group command from the context menu.
  • To rename any Logic Class in the List double click on its name or right click on it, choose Rename command from the context menu and type the new name.
  • To remove any Logic Class from the List right click on it and choose Remove command from the context menu.
  • To export created Logic Classes to LAS, PSG and ASCII formats right click on selected Class (use Shift or Ctrl buttons to select multiple Classes) and choose corresponding Export command from the context menu.
  • Check Tick-Mark in V column next to corresponding Logic Class’ name if you want this Class to be visible in the drawing.
  • When Coloring by Logic Classes mode is selected, you can also choose one of Coloring Options for Active View Section in Color column.
